1. GENERAL INFORMATION

What is The Lurid Gallery?

The Lurid Gallery (Lurid) is an abstract online art gallery specialising in expressive digital and physical portrait artwork.

Drawing inspiration from the history of abstract art and expressionism, The Lurid Gallery explores themes of chaos, horror, beauty, and introspection through emotionally driven portraiture.

Each piece is intended to evoke a personal and introspective response, allowing the viewer's own thoughts, emotions, and interpretations to become part of the work itself.

What currency do you use?

The Lurid Gallery’s prices are listed and processed in US dollars (USD), including all art pieces, with the final checkout total always shown and charged in USD. Depending on your bank and/or location, the transaction may appear in your local currency due to automatic conversion.

How is my email address used when I make a purchase?

Your privacy is very important to us. We use your email address only for purchase fulfilment, order-related communication, and customer support. We do not sell, share, or use your email address for marketing purposes.

Is the Lurid fingerprint symbol/signature a real fingerprint?

The fingerprint on Lurid's associated artworks, branding, and/or signatures is a stylized, artistic representation and is not based on any real person's biometric data. It is solely used as a visual element and symbolic signature. There are no privacy or identification concerns associated with it.

2. ORDERS AND PAYMENTS

How do I place an order?

Browse through any of our galleries, select your preferred artwork, choose the printing license that best suits your needs, and follow the checkout process.

We recommend reviewing our Terms & Policies before completing your purchase, as they contain important information regarding licensing, usage rights, and purchase conditions.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major payment methods processed securely through Clickbank, including credit/debit cards and other options depending on your location.

How do I retrieve my Certificate of Authenticity?

Please head to the Artwork Authentication support section, enter your Lurid Order ID under "Certificate of Authenticity", and click on "Retrieve C.O.A. Document". You will receive your C.O.A. shortly via email.

Where do I find My Artwork Origin Statement?

Please head to the Artwork Authentication support section, enter your Certificate Number (C/N) under "Artwork Origin Statement", and click on "Retrieve A.O.S. Document". You will receive your A.O.S. shortly via email.

Can I order a custom piece?

Currently, Lurid does not offer custom artwork. However, we’re happy to hear your suggestions for future designs.

3. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

How will I receive my digital art purchase?

Digital files and/or associated file links are delivered to the entered recipient email address by The Lurid Gallery immediately upon purchase.

Can I get a refund for a digital piece?

Refunds for digital products are only available if there’s a technical access issue, such as a broken download link or corrupted file, billing errors, and/or duplicate purchase cases. Please contact us at via the Feedback Portal within 60 days of purchase with proof of issue.

4. ARTWORK LICENSING

What can I do with my Lurid artwork printing license?

Each Lurid artwork comes with a defined printing license.

The Standard Printing License lets you print up to 3 copies for personal display, with a maximum size of 65 cm × 65 cm.

The Extended Printing License allows up to 5 copies, with no size limit, and permits limited commercial use, such as displaying in short-term rentals.

Resale or mass distribution is not allowed under either license.

Do I need a separate license for each artwork I purchase?

Yes. Each license applies only to the specific artwork purchased. If you want to print multiple artworks, each one must have its own printing license.

How do I select or change my printing license?

When collecting an artwork, you choose the desired printing license during checkout.

Once selected, your choice governs how many copies you can produce and the permitted uses.

License changes must be made before completing the purchase.

5. PRINTS-ON-DEMAND

What printing options do you offer?

Print-on-demand options are currently in development. We plan to introduce high-quality print formats (including canvas, metal, and wood) in the future, along with optional framing.

6. REFUNDS AND RETURNS

What is your refund policy?

Digital products are non-refundable unless there is a technical issue. Please see our Refund Policy under Terms & Policies for details.

For physical products, refunds or replacements are offered for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. Please stay tuned for our future archival fine art print service.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are granted under specific conditions outlined in our Refund Policy.

Please use the "Refund Request" Subject Type option under the Subject "Suggestions & Requests" in our Feedback Portal to submit your request.

7. SPECIAL REQUESTS

Can I add a personal touch to my order?

At this time, we do not offer personalized prints. However, stay tuned for future updates!

Do you offer bulk or wholesale discounts?

Thank you for your interest in purchasing multiple pieces of our artwork. At this time, we do not offer bulk or wholesale discounts. Each art piece must be ordered individually through our storefronts.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Do I own the artwork when I purchase it from The Lurid Gallery?

When you purchase an artwork from The Lurid Gallery, ownership of the underlying work and its intellectual property is not transferred. All rights remain with the original artist.

What you receive is a Lurid-recognised instance (“the issue”) of your purchased piece, recorded within The Lurid Gallery’s system, granting you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only under the Terms of Service and the associated printing license.

Is it okay to download or use the artwork without purchasing it?

The artworks available through The Lurid Gallery are protected by copyright and are intended to be accessed and used only under a valid license obtained through purchase.

If an artwork is downloaded or used without permission or a licensed purchase, it is not covered under the usage rights provided by The Lurid Gallery.

Only customers who have obtained a licensed instance (“the issue”) may use the artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with the Terms of Service.

Can I share my digital art with my friends?

Digital art purchased from The Lurid Gallery is intended for personal use only. Sharing, reproducing, or distributing the digital file, whether in part or in full, is a violation of our terms and conditions.

Each piece is sold with the understanding that it remains exclusive to the buyer for non-commercial purposes. We appreciate your support and understanding in respecting our work.

Does The Lurid Gallery Protect its art from unauthorized use?

All artworks sold by The Lurid Gallery are original creations by our studio. Purchasing our artwork does not grant permission for resale or reproduction in any form. Beware of resellers and art theft.

Any unauthorized use of our art is a violation of our rights. If you encounter suspicious listings, please report them via our support's Feedback Portal.

Is The Lurid Gallery's Logo Protected?

The Lurid Gallery logo is the intellectual property of our studio. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or resale is strictly prohibited.
